Hey polo friends!
Some of us spent the winter commuting to London for our polo fix, and that was awesome! If you haven't been yet, the London indoor space is a big rink that's a little slippery, but it's super fun to play on. They organize on Instagram and Discord.
But now it's time to re-start our local summer season! As soon as we get the court at the Bridgeport Community Centre cleaned up and empty of water, we will be playing there for the summer. We typically play on Thursday evenings, and sometimes also Sunday afternoons. The best way to keep up with exactly when we play is to check our Facebook page, and ask there to join the Facebook Messenger group.
We are also excited to travel to some tournaments this year! The Bike Polo Calendar has all the best news about tournaments.
For anyone who wants to try it out, we don't have any loaner bikes right now. But if you bring a bike and a helmet, we will have a spare mallet and are always happy to help you learn! Bike polo is for everyone, our youngest player is 10 and our oldest is almost 80.
